Cancellation Policy

Sonika Styled: Booking & Service Policy At Sonika Styled, we dedicate significant time to researching and curating your perfect look. To ensure the highest level of service for all clients, we kindly ask that you adhere to the following policies. 1. Booking & Deposits Retainer Fee: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your consultation or styling session. This ensures your date is reserved exclusively for you. Indian Ethnic Wear: For custom-tailored Indian outfits, bookings must be made at least 6–8 weeks in advance to account for design, measurements, and international shipping timelines. Virtual Refresh : These sessions require a minimum notice of 2 weeks to research the outfit. Customers are advised to set up a consultation session with the stylist at the earliest. This will allow time for shipping of the finalized outfit and accessories. Wardrobe Edits & Transformations: These sessions require a minimum of 2 weeks' notice for initial research and pre-consultation prep. 2. Rescheduling Policy Notice Period: We understand life happens. You may reschedule your appointment once with at least 48 hours' notice at no additional cost. Late Rescheduling: Rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a $50 convenience fee. Limits: Appointments can only be rescheduled a maximum of two times. Beyond this, the deposit is forfeited, and a new booking is required. 3. Cancellation Policy Cancellation: If you choose to cancel your appointment entirely, we will charge a fee of $75 to cover the creative research and administrative time already invested in your profile. No-Shows: Clients who do not show up for a scheduled session (virtual or in-person) without notice will be charged the full remaining balance of the service fee. 4. Special Considerations for Custom Orders Measurement Accuracy: For Ethnic Indian wear, the client is responsible for the accuracy of measurements provided via the intake form. Sonika Styled is not responsible for fit issues resulting from incorrect self-measurements. Rush Orders: Any request for a total transformation or special event outfit with less than a 14-day turnaround will be subject to a 20% Rush Fee.
